COACH McGRAW ON RESPECT

"You cannot have a successful team if players don't respect each other and the coaches."

"Respect is earned, but there should also be a certain level of respect for every human being whether or not you know him or her."

"You also have to respect your opponents."

"I respect my players as people. I have had player that I've had trouble respecting -- as players. The quickest way for someone to lose my respect as a player is for that player to put out minimal effort."

"It's also difficult for me to respect anyone who tries to undermine the team, and, unfortunately, it only takes one player with a bad attitude to destroy team chemistry."
